REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Version 1.0 – Effective 18-02-26


1. OVERVIEW

At QB Snacks, we take food safety and product quality seriously.

Due to the nature of our products (food items), we are unable to accept returns for change-of-mind purchases once products have left our premises.

However, your rights under New Zealand consumer law remain protected.


2. CHANGE OF MIND

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect selection

  • Preference or taste

  • Orders placed in error

Please choose carefully before completing your purchase.


3. FAULTY OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty

  • Is damaged during delivery

  • Is not of acceptable quality

  • Is unsafe

  • Is significantly different from its description

If you believe your product meets any of the above criteria, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Best-before date and batch information (if visible)

We may request additional information to assess the claim.


4. RESOLUTION OPTIONS

If your claim is valid, we may:

  • Replace the product

  • Provide a refund

  • Provide a store credit

We reserve the right to determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act.

For food safety reasons, we may not require the product to be returned.


5. SHIPPING ISSUES

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Please photograph the outer packaging immediately

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

Delays caused by courier services are outside our control, but we will assist where possible.


6. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For international purchases, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring products are permitted in your country

  • Any customs duties or import taxes

We are not responsible for delays, seizures, or refusals by customs authorities.


7. BUSINESS PURCHASES

If you are purchasing for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may not apply to the extent permitted by law.
