The journey started in the family kitchen with a bloke looking for more keto snack choices
Many months later, after driving the family slightly crazy with all
the cheese in the kitchen a crunchy cheese snack emerged that was tasty
for everyone! (not just those on keto diets)
Much to the relief of the family this bloke packed up all the
cheese and relocated to the Food Factory in Nelson (the tippy top of the
South Island, NZ)
October 2021, with MPI's* blessing, saw the sale of the first bag
of QBs Crunchy Cheese at the Nelson Saturday Market. You can still find
QB Snacks every Saturday at the Nelson Market (except on wet days...)
The icing on the cake came in July 2022 when QB's Crunchy Cheese
won the start-up category for the national New World FoodStarter
competition! Wowza!

QB Crunchy Cheese is cheese that does not need to be refrigerated,
so it is perfect for lunch boxes, road trips, camping, tramping, and
snacking during the day or with a movie!
QB Snacks is in love with the idea of creating snacks, in NZ, that everyone loves but also gives those on restricted diets more snack options to choose from.
Over the next few years, we are aiming to provide a range of
readily accessible snacks throughout NZ that are good for those:

- gluten free / Coeliac friendly
